He trained as a dentist in the University of Seville, from 1992 to 1997.  After several years practicing general dentistry and collaborating as a teacher in the University of Seville, he achieved a PhD when he submitted his doctorate thesis in 2004, and in 2005 was named Associate Teacher in Prosthodontics.  That same year he specialised in implant retained prosthesis in the Universidad Complutense, Madrid.  He currently teaches both undergraduates and postgraduates (Expert in Implant Retained Prosthesis and other training courses in the Dentistry School of the University of Seville). He carries out Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry procedures in Clínica Dental Avante, as well as restoring implants
