He qualified as a dentist in the University of Seville (1997-2002).  He helped out within the Orthodontics department in the University of Seville, then continued his training 3 more years in the same University and obtained the Masters in Orthodontics and Dental. He became a Doctor in Dentistry by the University of Seville in 2010.  He has also published numerous articles in international journals.  He has practiced exclusively as an orthodontist since 2006, and taught in the Orthodontics and dental Orthopaedics Masters from 2007 to 2013, as well as in the Orthodontics Department of the University of Seville since 2008.
